John E. Kozel, LAc, MAcOM (he/him) offers acupuncture, couples acupuncture, group acupuncture, herbal medicine, shiatsu massage, cupping, gua sha, and electroacupuncture. John sees patients independently and in coordination with the LMTs of Body Aware Massage.
John has extensive training in traditional Chinese medicine and biomedical science education. He completed his graduate training at the College of Oriental Medicine, where he graduated in 2017. In addition to acupuncture and Chinese medicine, John has been trained in Qi Gong, Western Herbalism, and Shiatsu Massage.
John approaches patient care through multiple lenses to provide an integrated and whole-person-centered treatment plan for each patient. He specializes in treating low back and neck pain, insomnia and anxiety, hormone balancing, autoimmune diseases, and LGBTQ+ health.
