Stretch & Strengthen Instruction

Our individualized stretch and strengthen instruction sessions will give you the knowledge and tools to practice independently. This can be a full series of exercises or small adjustments that can be worked into daily life. We offer suggestions and teach you a variety of self-massage skills.

You’ll receive a personalized assessment, handouts explaining the exercises, and a detailed action plan during the initial visit. Based on your needs, your plan may include:

  • Yoga and stretching
  • Strengthening exercises
  • Self-massage
  • Foam rolling
  • Education on how to use assistive tools at home
  • Stress reduction strategies
  • Breathing techniques

First visits require a full hour for assessment and initial recommendations. Follow-up visits can be shorter in duration and may be added to a massage. Individualized  instruction can:

  • Strengthen weak and overextended areas
  • Relax contracted and spasmed areas
  • Relieve chronic pain due to misaligned posture
  • Release trapped nerves from tight muscles
